Math Breakout.

Monday. Math tuition. After school and extra class, we went all the way to 1st garden to have lunch and stop by Yit Wei's house to have a break before math tuition at 4. I slept while they ate and chit chatted. It's almost 3.30. We were rushing out for tuition and went to Mei Shing's house to call her out. She just woke up thinking that the tuition starts at 4.30 (FYI, Mei Shing, Xue Wei and Marcus are new comers). She came to the door and went back in to change. Then a message came. "TUITION CANCELLED!" We were like... What the??!! Mei Shing got herself dressed up and she came out. We told her tuition was cancelled and so we went in her house to pay a visit. Chat for a while and left. Later after that... Hehe....

Plans keep occurring in my mind. After we went back to Yit Wei's house, we thought of going to Kledang hill for a walk. Haha... Our past motion (shit in the modern colloquial) plan to pass time.




























































We even met and talked to a couple who took the pictures for us.


Then we went over to "Wong Kam" to have a tea break. For me it was dinner so we ate and I finally found out the difference between "wan tao long" and "au yoke ping".


Tired. Went home after fetching Yit Wei home. That's about it.

Librarians and Prefects.

One question to ask. Are they the same? Are LIBRARIANS and PREFECTS the SAME??? NO!!!! NOT AT ALL!!! To me, the only similarities were, we are all students of the school and we wears the same tie. What's the big fuss of who is BETTER??? I don't know whether there's actually a single comparison that we can do. They are both doing DIFFERENT duties for the school. TOTALLY DIFFERENT ROLES AN WHY THE HACK ARE YOU COMPARING??!!!

Duties of a Prefect.

Control the discipline of students.
Make sure RULES in the school are obeyed by all.
Incharge of almost everything around school compounds from gates, to canteen, to hall and to the field during assembly.
In fact I might loose out some points cause I'm not a prefect.



A duty of a librarian.

Simple. Everything in the library and everything that has to do with information.
Take care of the property (books, shelves, stationaries)
Make sure books are wrapped, processed and arrange properly.
Make sure students can borrow and return books.
All in all.... EVERYTHING that is happening in the LIBRARY.

Whats the similarity?? I seem to not find any. NONE!! What's there to compare. Making troubles like how the Librarians attire has to differ from the prefects, wearing different colour name tags and other physical stuff that doesn't prove the functionality of both parties. Why is this happening? Can we actually compare a pen and a chair? They are two different things way beyond comparisons. Both were created by humans and one is to sit on, another to write with. It's the same scenario here. Librarians and prefects are created by the school. One is to take care of the library and another taking care the well-being of the students. Why can't the teachers see this point. I cam understand if you are comparing with a library or prefects from the same school. But this is total ABSURD! just cut the crap and save gas competing with each other. You won't get a pay raise if you do better. In the end, you are still colleagues, you are still schoolmates.

Compare with something worth comparing. Comparing is stupid if you are comparing two absolute different things.

Unending headache!

My car. A very ugly, dented and rusty car. No mater how I wish it could be nicer, it can't be. I'm a perfectionist. I want things that I do, I use... Short to say EVERYTHING are perfect. God does not grant my wish. He is the only perfect one and none other than that. My car... My car is far beyond okay. It's imperfectness is everywhere. The tail lights, hood, interior, seats. Gosh!! What else??

The worst was, each and everytime it's fixed, another problem will pop out. It's been like that since a year now. After countless of fixing and fixing. Nothing seemed to be okay. From the body to the interior to the tyres and to the accessories. The alarm especially!! It's been the nth time I had it fix!! Gosh!! First was no batt. Then, wiring, then final resort is change a new one. what??!!! Gosh... Don't know when this will end. Sick of going to the car wanting to drive but can't due to the troubles it's giving me. I'm just sick of it. Not sick if the car but the problems it gave and the massive amount of money we had to spend. Wish that it could end. Better still if there's a new car.

Why say something??

Okay. Here's a situation. People are going crazy about something petty like getting the formation right for some watikah pelantikan for the librarians. The ideas of the teacher is already an headache for all of us and some were just digging other's and their own graves. What they did was SAYING SOMETHING, leaving extra comments to make things worst. People will always invite good suggestions and take every opinion into consideration. But if opinions and suggestions are killing time and making the problem into a bigger one, might as well you keep opinions to yourself. There were almost 30 of us. If each of us have an opinion to voice out, who's going to follow orders then?? Sometimes it's just good to keep quiet and follow. Situation would be much simpler that way. Thats why in all and every company to any organization, there will only be ONE leader giving out directions for other to follow.

I don't care what's going to turn up this Monday for the pelantikan thing. I don't care. I will just follow the directions given by who ever it is and end it ASAP. It's pointless anyways. Not that great afterall.

Lameness.

Feb 17

Today after Math and MUET class, I went out for a drink with Chun Sing, Andrew and Li Yee. It was just 3 of us when we went there and joined by a fee of their church mates. They were joking about Li yee's lameness and about her short laugh. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I did although I didn't say much. And although i don't know the church members well. Church classes were never boring cause somehow my brains worked well in God's House. Big thanks to Chun Sing for inviting me to the class and get to know these whacky and LAME people!!! Thanks sir for teaching me all this while. =)

Hairwired Priority

Feb 13

Today is a really awkward day. 1st of all having a friend over to my house to study on the sabbath day. After church, mum, Unc. Justin and I went to a shop nearby church to have beef soup noodles. Mum said she wants to buy some veg for linch later at the wet market. So I asked Unc. Justin to go down to book place first. After going for 2 rounds around the parking lot, I've decided to park the car in the wet market. I walked to the shop, find a chair and sat down. I asked him nicely: did you order for me, mum?? Then he replied: "NO!! I didn't." I was stunned. I don't really know why he is mad about cause usually he is the one who ordered for all of us. "Never mind Loh", I told myself. I was thinking of waiting for mum to order when she has done with her shopping. Ate and left to fetch Choon Wei home for study.

Reached home and confronted mum. She said I was the one who caused him with his black face. " I was like .........." what??!! I fetched him there and park the car. You can't even order the food for me. His reason was I was playing my iPod after I reached. Of course lah!! It is an understandable state that I park the car, mum go for shopping, you book the place and order. It's weird that he put it that way because he had no intentions to order in the first place, even before I came in and sat down. Never mind lah.... Ish. Don't want to fight with these old people. Just something to tell you " yes, you may be the older one, but not everything in this world goes your way." I'm your family member. If you think that doing something so small is burdening you, then love and family is not your top priority. Set them. Set your top priority. And when you face unsatisfaction, reason it out. And you might prove yourself wrong. Doesn't mean that you are older and you should not listen to someone younger than you. No one is perfect. God create humans with different gender and age to relate to each other and have mutual... MUTUAL exchange of thoughts to learn and to excel in life.

9th Day.

This is the first time I went to witness the Chinese and Buddhist culture on the 9th day. They called it the "9 wong yeh" or direct translation from mandarin "九王爷" if I'm not mistaken. Haha. My mandarin sucks!! Anyways, there were a lot of food even more than what I had during the 1st day. And loads of paper folded "gold" and a few of familiar faces at Kok Chung's house.
It was a kind of simple ceremony where they light up the huge josstick and start praying. Then they burn up the folded gold papers. Shell of Red eggs were pealed and thrown into the burning fire for luck and prosperity.


The children played fire crackers as well. There were so many of them and thats what make the event even more livelier!

Then we ate the pork... SIEW YOKE. my favorite and chit chatted. Its really and eye opening event for me to at least know the tradition or ceremony practiced by the buddhist. It's a great honor for me to attend and be late for school the next day. Ehhe... (as you can see on the previous post) oh yeah!! Almost forgotten. I've captured a picture of the "monster side" of my friend, Mok with the way he eats!!!

I'm late!!!

Yesterday I went over to Kok's house for "bai tin gong". I spent my time there throughout the whole process for the first time in my life till 2 something. We chatted and ate a lot!!! it was the whole roasted pork!!! The whole pork lying there on the table. Besides, there were fish, chicken, crabs, prawns and other Chinese "kuih". I just ate my favorite "Siew Yoke" ny. It was just AWSM!! I went home bathed, packed my bags and ironed my school uniform. Went to bed straight after that.

This morning when I open my eyes. I saw light shining in my room. I actually thought that It was a Saturday. When I step out of my blurish world and came back to my senses..... OMG!!! IM LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!! it's 7.45. Gosh!!! Hurried downstairs, bathed and woke Jerome up to fetch me to School. I reached there around 8.30. 1 hour late. Missed the first class. Heheh.... But things turned out okay. It's worth it I would say to experience the chinese culture and experiencing being that late to school.

The Eve.

I've actually written this post before on that very night itself, but my iPod somehow died and have deleted what I've written! Garh!!!! But nevermind. I will try to flashback a bit of what has happened.

In the morning, I woke up and washed the car and did some minor house chores while mum fetch Jerome to work and go to grandma's place to help out. The car was sparkling clean as well as my tummy. Sparkling clean and EMPTY. I went to Tesco Extra to get something and head straight to Grandma's house. I ate a bit and watched some Korean Drama. A quite old show. Few years back I think. Still an addict?? Yes!! I am!!! Haha. Just can't run away from them!

The most important agenda on the list arrived. The 'REUNION DINNER'. The food!! I just can't wait to chew and swallow them down into my stomach! The dishes were...

Later after that we went for Lou Shang!! It was superb AWSM although I don't enjoy this dish. But the mixing with the chopsticks made it nicer than how it tasted.

How's my CNY??

Feb

This day is THE DAY. Every year since don't know when, we will have home visiting. From walking and cycling to riding motorcycle, and now driving. Every year we will meet at our HQ (head quarters) which is at the Twins' home.








Then we will move to our friends' home one by one. This time around we have....

17 of us!!!! And 12 homes visited! We started at around 8.00 and all the way down to evening at around 6 in the evening. After gathering at HQ, we went to a shop near by Kah Weng's house to have breakfast.












































Then we head to our second home.... Mok's house!!

Then we move on to Chee Yan's and Wei Lun's home. Sorry... No pics here either cause haha... For the same reason. SNSD. Their programme was on TV... so no time to take pics.













































We had our lou shang here at Jackson's home. You might be wondering why there were forks. Haha. Because there were not enough chopsticks to Lou.....

Next stop, is my home, Samuel's and Kok Chung's home. After visiting Kok Chung's home everyone is tired and went home. We said our goodbyes and that was about it. Our visit. Tired but EXTREMELY NICE!!!
